Ernest Irving Freese's Geometric Transformations: The
Man, the Manuscript, the Magnificent Dissections!
|
by
Greg Frederickson |
This book introduces Ernest Irving
Freese and his 200-plate manuscript on geometric
transformations completed yet in 1957 shortly before he

after his death the manuscript lay forgotten in his
former house for more than four decades until Greg
Frederickson discovered this geometrical masterpiece. In
2003 Frederickson started its recovery and added to its
refurbished copy a biography of Freese, a history of
geometric dissections with a commentary and some
improvements made after Freese... |
