A Mathemagician is a name for
somebody who is a mathematician and magician
simultaneously. This collection contains selected
writings in tribute to the most famous Mathemagician of
all times, Martin Gardner.
Several generations of mathematicians, magicians, and
puzzlers have been influenced by Martin Gardner, and
they are his faithful and grateful fans. One of
them, Tomas Rodgers, founded the
Gathering for Gardner (G4G), the unique biennial
event which is organizing with help of many other
enthusiastic and talented fans of Martin Gardner.
Atlanta is the venue of every Gathering for Gardner.
This book features G4G5 held in Atlanta in 2002.
