Put-Together Puzzles

by Peter and Serhiy Grabarchuk

Sample of "Bubble Dipole"
A sample of a "bubble dipole."
Each tile of this puzzle is a two-sided rhombus with two color bubbles depicted on each of its sides as mirror images. Using all the five rhombuses, assemble them into some shape so that five pairs of bubbles appear; a sample of such a "bubble dipole" is shown at left. Note that a "dipole" is a small rhombus with two bubbles, but colors of bubbles in each pair do not matter. Keep in mind that no two "dipoles" should be adjacent (having a common side), but they can contact at a corner, if at all.

The tiles can be rotated and/or flipped over, but not overlapped. To move a tile, click and drag it. To rotate a tile, click it. To flip a tile, click it holding the SPACE key. Use "Restart" to start the puzzle over again.
